Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience as an LPN in a hospital or skilled nursing facility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.
• Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Accurately administer medications and educate patients on their medication regimen.
• Implement prescribed treatments, such as IV therapy and catheter care.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, prevention, and self-care.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and interventions.
• Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect patients and healthcare workers.
• Offer emotional support and compassion to patients and their families during challenging times.
