Job Description

The Nurse in the ICU provides independent, comprehensive care in a critical setting, demonstrating clinical competence and managing complex patient needs.

• Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, assessing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social factors, administering treatments, documenting care, and educating patients and families.
• Qualifications require a BSN (preferred), 1-year nursing experience (critical care preferred), a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS certification.
• New hires must complete orientation, competency validations, and obtain additional certifications within designated timeframes, with grace periods for certain credentials.
• Work schedule is 7 PM - 7 AM, full-time. The role involves leadership expectations and adherence to professional standards in a high-acuity ICU environment.
