The Nurse independently provides routine and complex care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations and managing contingencies.

• Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care according to ANA standards, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitors effects, and documents patient information.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients and families, identifying issues and resources.
• Meets competency expectations, completes onboarding and annual training, and maintains required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP within specified time frames.
• Preferred candidates have at least 1 year of acute care experience, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
