Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Heart Department at the Ontario location. The LPN will assess, plan and implement nursing care for patients under physician supervision and participate in patient and family teaching.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse in State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two (2) or more years of previous experience in a physician office (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan and implement nursing care of patients under supervision of physician or AP provider.
• Participate in patient and family teaching; advocate for patients.
• Coordinate patient flow and clinical operations with clinical staff as directed by physician.
