Job summary

The Arc of Bristol County in North Dighton, MA is seeking an LPN Healthcare Manager to lead nursing services within our community support programs. You will oversee clinical staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate patient care for individuals with complex health needs.

This full-time role requires valid LPN licensure in MA, with RN considered a plus, extensive experience in critical care, and proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Massachusetts.
• RN licensure considered a plus.
• Experience in critical care environments (ICU/ED) preferred.
• Hands-on EMR/EHR experience with Epic/Cerner/Athenahealth.
• HIPAA and NCQA standards compliance knowledge.
• Experience injections, phlebotomy, ventilator management, wound care preferred.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff across residential and community programs.
• Oversee assessments, vital signs, medications, and documentation per HIPAA.
• Coordinate procedures (IV infusions, catheterizations, tube feedings) with safety.
• Manage EMR systems to maintain accurate patient records.
• Conduct patient assessments and triage calls with healthcare providers.
• Develop discharge plans with case management for continuity of care.
• Train staff on infection control, HIPAA, ICD coding, and best practices.

The LPN Healthcare Manager will lead and coordinate nursing services within our community support programs. This vital role involves overseeing patient care, managing clinical staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and fostering a compassionate environment for individuals with complex health needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid LPN license with current state licensure required; RN licensure considered a plus
• Extensive experience in critical care environments such as ICU or emergency medicine preferred
• Proven background in medical office management, long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings
• Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding highly desirable
• Experience administering injections, phlebotomy, ventilator management, and wound suturing preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and NCQA standards

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care across various settings, including residential and community-based programs
• Oversee clinical assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards
• Coordinate medical procedures such as IV infusions, catheterizations, tube feedings, and sterile techniques while ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Manage EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Conduct patient assessments, triage calls, and coordinate urgent or emergent care needs in collaboration with healthcare providers
• Develop discharge plans and collaborate with case management teams to ensure comprehensive care continuity
• Provide training and mentorship to staff on topics such as infection control, HIPAA compliance, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and other clinical best practices
