Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Jefferson Hills, PA seeks LPNs to join a direct care team providing patient and family-focused nursing support under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include care within LPN scope, assisting with treatments, collecting assessments, coordinating tests, scheduling procedures, and supporting medication administration. Required licensure and CPR; preferred PALS/ACLS and EPIC knowledge.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure (state license or eNLC multi-state licensure) required.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Preferred: 1 year healthcare experience; PALS or ACLS; state-approved IV course certification.
• Knowledge of EPIC documentation and assessment process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assists with equipment prep and supports clinical providers during treatment/exam/testing.
• Collects assessment data and documents in patient records; reports changes to RN/physician.
• Orders diagnostic tests as directed and reviews results prior to clinician assessment.
• Schedules procedures and obtains necessary authorizations under RN oversight.
• Assists with administering medications and basic medical tasks including specimen collection.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
