Job summary

Bancroft is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services under the direction of a Registered Nurse for persons served by the organization.

Responsibilities include transcribing physician orders, taking health histories, conducting screenings and assessments, visiting program sites to ensure health, safety and quality of care, and maintaining up-to-date medical charts for all individuals served.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid New Jersey LPN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Experience with developmentally disabled population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes physician orders into the medical record under RN supervision.
• Obtains health histories, conducts screenings and assessments, records vitals.
• Reviews and monitors medical charts for accuracy and adherence to orders.
• Conducts on-site visits to program sites to ensure health, safety and quality of care.
