Job summary

Bancroft is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for our Children’s Program in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The role involves providing nursing services under the direction of a Registered Nurse, with shifts Thursday through Saturday evenings.

The LPN will transcribe physician orders, perform health screenings, and document health data to support ongoing care. Qualified candidates hold an NJ LPN license; prior experience with individuals who are developmentally disabled is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited Nursing program with a current and valid NJ license required.
• Prior nursing experience working with the developmentally disabled and/or traumatically brain injured preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the RN's direction, provides nursing care to persons served within license constraints and in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Reviews and documents physician orders, obtains health histories, conducts health screenings and assessments, and reports findings to RN for physician review.
