Job summary

Ocean-Meadow-Senior-Living in Clinton, CT is seeking an LVN/LPN to administer medications to residents in compliance with Federal and State regulations. You will assist with admissions, contribute to care plans and data collection, and help track clinical data under direction of the director.

This in-person role requires flexibility across day, evening and night shifts, with rotating weekends and holiday coverage. BLS certification preferred; LPN/LVN credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed vocational nurse (LVN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents in accordance with Federal & State regulations.
• Assist admissions assessments and documentation for new residents.
• Contribute to acute and long-term care/service plans and data collection.
• Coordinate clinical tracking (wounds, infection control) under direction of director.
• Provide education and health-related consultations to residents and staff.
• Notify physicians/families of health changes and document appropriately.
