Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) in Camden, SC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN to provide nursing care under RN supervision. You will participate in patient care, assist with data collection, and help formulate plans while evaluating outcomes.

Position supports variable hours, with 12 scheduled hours per week, and operates in geriatric psych care settings. Paid hourly with standard nursing duties, BLS certification required, and SC license or compact state license

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
• One year of LPN experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or ARC CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a registered nurse, responsible for identified nursing care behaviors within span of control.
• Participates in care of a defined patient population and assists with data collection.
• Formulates plans for patient care and participates with evaluation of outcomes of nursing actions.
