Job summary

Liberty Health in Blowing Rock, North Carolina seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join The Foley Center at Chestnut Ridge. This full-time role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and opportunities to provide compassionate geriatric care under RN supervision.

You will supervise nursing activities on a unit, delegate tasks appropriately, monitor patients, and communicate with physicians during emergencies. A NC LPN license is required, with yearly CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current North Carolina license.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Willing to work as charge nurse and cover emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing services under RN supervision.
• Delegate duties and monitor performance.
• Observe patients for signs of adverse changes.
• Notify physician of emergencies or death; implement orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
