Allied Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you'll provide critical nursing care, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and lead nursing aides. The position requires graduating from an accredited nursing program and maintaining a current nursing license.

A minimum of one year of experience in a geriatric setting is preferred, along with CPR certification and strong communication skills. This role involves heavy physical demands and is conducted in resident living areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of satisfactory experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
• Possession of a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners required or eligible for such licensure.
• CPR Certification required or must be obtained and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Administers medically prescribed treatment and coordinates nursing care.
• Monitors acceptable standards of nursing care on the assigned nursing unit.
• Participates in planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
