Borland Groover, a Florida gastroenterology provider, seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support direct and indirect patient care in a fast-paced GI practice.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with a Florida LPN license, BLS, and about 1 year of clinic or hospital experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Active Florida LPN license required.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 1 year of LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vitals, histories, and allergies.
• Administer medications per physician order.
• Assist with exams and patient education.
• Document in electronic health records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate referrals and care transitions.
• Triage and handle calls and patient requests in a timely manner.
