Job summary

Borland Groover is seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to coordinate nursing care in a fast-paced gastroenterology setting. The LPN will provide direct and indirect patient care, patient education, and participate in transitions of care under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assisting providers during exams. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential in this team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Florida and current CPR/BLS.
• Strong customer service and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with EMR and basic computer skills.
• Experience in fast-paced gastroenterology setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vitals, and complete medication reconciliation.
• Assist providers during examinations and treatment delivery.
• Manage patient education and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform triage and communicate tests/referrals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR.
