Job summary
Paramount Community Living Center & Rehab in Newton, KS is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for all shifts. Full-time or part-time opportunities across 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians and therapists.

Qualifications
- LPN/LVN license in Kansas required.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients and stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and administer medications.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to the Charge Nurse or DON.
- Assist in development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation; communicate with residents, families and the care team.
- Adhere to facility policies, procedures and infection control standards.
- Provide education and emotional support to residents and families.
