Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management in Elyria, OH seeks a registered nurse to provide safe, efficient age-specific nursing care using the nursing process to help patients attain and maintain optimal health.

You will act in accordance with Ohio Board of Nursing standards, complete documentation, deliver relationship-based care, demonstrate technical skills for safe practice, communicate clearly, and collaborate to optimize patient care and operations.

Responsibilities

• Functions in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio board of nursing.
• Completes/submits required documentation.
• Delivers effective relationship based nursing care.
• Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
• Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
• Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
• Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
