Job summary

Sonida Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Shift Team across Ohio communities. This role offers flexible hours up to 29 hours per week and the ability to pick shifts you want to work using a mobile app.

As an LPN, you will supervise nursing assistants, administer medications, document shift activities, and ensure residents receive timely care. A minimum of one year of experience and an active LPN license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN and maintain current licensure.
• Minimum one year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations on shift activities.
• Ensure adequate supply of medications and equipment.
• Place calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions.
• Pulls and prepares patient charts and perform general office duties.

LPN Responsibilities Include

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility
• Administer all medications as ordered by the physician
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations concerning the activities of your shift as required
• Ensure adequate supply of medications, supplies and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of residents. Report needs to the nursing supervisor
• Place phone calls to pharmacies to order prescriptions
• Pulls and prepares patient charts; performs other general office duties as required

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN, and must maintain current and unencumbered licensure
