Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Mount Vernon, IL is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated care team. You will provide basic medical attention, assess residents’ wellbeing, and coordinate with nursing aides to deliver safe, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state license to practice as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Interest in gerontological nursing with basic nursing knowledge.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the nursing care of residents on the unit with a nurse aide.
• Provides safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Administers and documents medications and treatments per schedule.
• Transcribes and coordinates physician orders and notifies changes.
• Performs nursing assessments and responds to changes in status.
