Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a PRN role in long-term care. You will provide professional nursing care under supervision, administer medications, and support residents according to care plans.

The position requires an accredited practical nursing program graduate with an LPN license. Must meet state requirements, work six shifts per month including two weekends, and participate in holiday rotation; additional incentives apply for weekend and night

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
If IV therapy/management skills are required, ND requirements may apply per nursing board.
Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or at least 400 hours as LPN.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medications, behavior, activity and dietary.
Collaborate with health care professionals as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
