Job summary

Empath Health’s Tidewell Hospice in Bradenton, FL is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside care under an RN case manager. The 40-hour week includes rotating shifts to support Manatee County and nearby areas, with a focus on comfort and dignity for patients and families.

What You'll Do

Under the direction of the RN case manager, provides continuous bed-side clinical observations, prescribed care, physical, and emotional support to patients as directed in plan of care, reporting significant changes in patient condition and family needs as needed. In collaboration with the RN, accepts and processes physician orders to maximize patient comfort. The LPN utilizes monitoring, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and enhance the quality of life for the Patient/Family unit.

What You'll Need

Applicants must be a graduate of an approved nursing program and own a current Florida LPN license. Minimum one year experience in an acute care setting, providing direct patient care; previous experience as a hospice LPN preferred.
