Job summary

Food Allergy Institute (FAI) in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide clinical support, prepare exam rooms, and help manage patient flow. The role includes taking vital signs, documenting history, and assisting with injections and dosing during visits.

The LPN will support providers with charting, prescription requests, and education for patients regarding home dosing and food challenges.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse in New Jersey.
• 1+ years nursing/clinic experience.
• Pediatric phlebotomy experience is a plus.
• Current BLS certification and EMR experience.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical support to providers and patients during visits.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure patient flow.
• Take and record vital signs and medical history.
• Administer injections and medications as directed.
• Assist with charts, prescription requests, and home dosing safety.
• Read and perform skin tests, patch tests, PFTs, and eNO tests as required.
• Educate patients and answer inquiries regarding home treatment foods.
