Advocate Health – Waterside Family Medicine in North Carolina is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. The role includes patient preparation, specimen collection, medication administration, and direct support to physicians during procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold a Practical Nursing program credential, possess valid LPN licensure in the state, and have BLS certification within 45 days of hire.

Formación

• Excellent communication, written and verbal; ability to develop rapport with patients, staff and physicians.
• Strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills including EMR systems and basic Windows navigation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and room patients for exams, obtaining vitals and documenting health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures (throat/nose culture, specimen collection) using sterile technique.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries such as pelvic exams and minor interventions.
• Administer medications per physician orders, including immunizations, IV therapy within scope, and allergy management.
• Provide patient education and coordinate follow-up care, referrals, and prescriptions as directed.
