Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver compassionate patient care under RN supervision in home health settings. The LPN will apply the nursing process, assess patient needs, and support care teams in providing high-quality care.

This role offers flexible scheduling with day, evening, night shifts and weekend coverage. Competitive pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, weekly payroll, and a range of benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license to practice in the state.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray documentation.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) card.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from health care team and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Other LPN duties as assigned.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.
