Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY, is seeking an LPN to join the ENT practice. The role involves providing direct patient care across several clinic sites and supporting in-office procedures and tests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. is required.
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse license is required upon hire.
• Previous patient care experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, patients and staff.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and accurately record patient’s vital signs.
• Document components of patient’s history.
• Communicate with patients, visitors and staff in an open and appropriate manner.
• Participate in in-office procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
• Perform CLIA-waived testing.
• Perform venipuncture to obtain blood for testing.
• Handle prescription call-backs per scope of practice.
• Prepare patient charts with pertinent clinical information.
• Maintain inventory and keep examination rooms stocked.
