Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an LPN to provide quality patient care under physician supervision in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, documenting in EMR, giving injections, and assisting with minor procedures.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited Practical Nurse program, SC LPN license or compact state, active BLS, and ability to manage patient flow and education as needed.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited Practical Nurse program.
• Licensed as an LPN in the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current South Carolina LPN License or compact state license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures accurate calibrations, cleaning and scheduled maintenance of clinical/lab equipment as required by OSHA, DHEC and UMA.
• Maintains and reviews patient records, charts and any other pertinent information, communicating as appropriate.
• Maintains exam room supplies, instruments and cleanliness of patient care environment.
• Maintains timely flow of patient, assists with scheduling of appointments and referrals based on urgency and availability.
• Observes, records and reports patient's physical and psychosocial condition, reactions to medication and treatments to physician.
