Job summary

Join Parachute in Albemarle, NC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time on-site role. You will ensure donor health and safety and play a key part in the donor experience within a lean, high-growth center environment.

The LPN will work with center staff, perform health screenings, respond to donor reactions, and help maintain clean, compliant exam rooms while gaining exposure to phlebotomy and processing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Work collaboratively with all center staff.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross trained in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.
