Join Parachute, LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support donor health and safety at our Laurel, MD site. This full-time role requires a compassionate clinician to ensure a safe and welcoming donor experience and to contribute to a fast-growing team.

You will perform health screenings, monitor donor suitability, and collaborate with staff to maintain high standards of care. The position includes cross-training in phlebotomy and related duties, with opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED or higher.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of employment (MD).
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsabilités

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to ensure a positive donor experience.
• Maintain health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station setup.
• Opportunity to assume additional responsibilities with potential for higher earnings.
