Ochsner LSU Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care under RN supervision in Shreveport, LA. You will support nursing staff, perform IV therapy as approved, and ensure a high standard of care across a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, active LA LPN license, and BLS certification. Preferred IV therapy credentials and strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current LPN license in state of practice (LA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV Therapy credentials preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Uses the nursing process in patient care through data gathering, planning and evaluation.
• Provides care based on criteria appropriate to the ages of patients served.
• Communicates effectively with patients, guests, family and co-workers to ensure quality care.
• Adapts to rapid changes in the unit/department throughout the day.
• Maintains required clinical knowledge, skills and credentials; pursues professional development.
• Performs other related duties as required.
