Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license in Ohio.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents on assigned unit daily to observe and evaluate each resident’s physical and emotional status and notify the charge nurse, physician, or Director of Nursing when conditions change.
• Identify resident problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
• Provide holistic care for residents within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist in monitoring medication inventory and supplies to ensure adequate stock for residents.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as necessary.
• Report occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and hazardous substances per facility policy.
