Job summary

Southeast Missouri Residential Services is a State of Missouri facility in Poplar Bluff seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one care. The role requires a current MO LPN license, strong nursing knowledge, and a commitment to aiding consumers with physical or mental disabilities.

You will work with a team, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with care plans. Shifts may vary including weekends and holidays; training for direct support staff is provided.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Missouri or in accordance with Missouri's Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Knowledge of current nursing theory, practices, and techniques.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and prescribed treatments; take vital signs and assist with care plan activities.
• Observe and report patient conditions and behaviors; participate in rehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers.
• Oversee nursing assistants; communicate with doctors, patients, and families; educate patients on care.
