Job summary

Sanford Health in Dickinson, ND is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Walk-In Clinic team on a part-time basis. The role involves providing holistic nursing care under supervision, serving as the primary nurse for a provider within scope, and supporting patients through their healthcare journey in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities include documenting medical histories, administering medications, and counseling patients and families on prevention and treatment

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• IV therapy/management skills may be required in North Dakota per state board requirements.

• Documents a thorough medical history from patient.
• Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals.

The Walk In Clinic is a fast paced environment caring for patients through their lifespan, variety every day!

• Clinic is open Monday-Friday 8:00a-8:00p; Weekends 8:00a-6:00pm

• Acute Care premium pay increase

• Every third weekend/holiday is required

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
