Sanford Health is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide quality, holistic care in our Southpointe Clinic in Fargo. You will work 7:00am–5:00pm with 1:1 pairing to a provider, under supervision of a RN, APN or physician.

We offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time and part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• North Dakota IV therapy requirement: graduation from Board approved AASPN program with IV therapy or IV Therapy course approved by the ND Board of Nursing.
• Unencumbered LPN license and/or multi-state licensure privileges; maintain required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients.
• Documents a thorough medical history from patient.
• Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered.
• Provides technical support to healthcare professionals.
• Counseling patients and family on prevention and treatment plans, under RN supervision.

Department Details

Come join our largest Internal Medicine Clinic offering primary care for patients with chronic diseases, group wellness visits, home based primary care, and some outreach care.

Seeking a reliable individual who is flexible, has a team approach to collaborate with the nursing team and providers, and is interested in learning new things. We are open to hiring experienced nurses or new nurses for this role.

This position is Monday through Friday working between 7:00am and 5:00pm based on the provider's schedule as you would be paired to work 1 on 1 with a specific provider.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
