OhioHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care on the Med Surg Unit. The role emphasizes patient assessment, collaboration with clinicians, and timely communication of care plans.

You will document data, delegate tasks per policy, and actively contribute to safety and quality initiatives. This full-time, day-shift position offers weekend coverage on a 36-hour work week, with differential eligibility and a focus on compassionate patient-centered care.

Formación

• High School or GED required; BLS certification required.
• Must hold a current Ohio nursing license and BLS.
• Knowledge of nursing practice acts and patient safety.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessments and document findings.
• Collaborate with the health care team to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Document data and communicate assessments through referrals and rounds.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel according to state statutes and policy.
• Participate in process improvement activities to improve quality and safety.
• Provide direct patient care and act as a patient advocate.
