Athens Health and Rehabilitation seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for day shifts to provide direct nursing care and collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary care team in a home-like setting.

The role is full-time with competitive pay ($27.05–$32.70/hour) and a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Strong clinical skills including medication administration and wound care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• BLS/CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor, document, and report changes in residents’ health status, including vital signs
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team members to support recovery goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulations
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families
• Ensure a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols
