Job summary

Northwest Healthcare's Oro Valley Hospital is hiring a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse for the day shift in the Skilled Nursing unit. You will provide essential nursing care under RN supervision, administer medications, and help develop care plans.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care, maintain accurate documentation, educate patients and families, and participate in staff training.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of LPN experience in a healthcare setting required.
• LPN or LVN licensure and BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with basic procedures as needed and support training of staff.
