Job summary

Maxim Healthcare of Andersonville, TN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with a pediatric patient in their home. No homecare experience required. We are also partnered with Johns Hopkins University to offer skill advancement (paid training) if you are interested in furthering your skill set!

Schedule: Mon & Tues 7am-7pm; Patient: Adult with g tube and trach; Start Date: ASAP.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB test or chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
