Job summary

Maxim Healthcare of Knoxville, TN is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. No homecare experience required, with paid training through a Johns Hopkins partnership.

We offer Full Time (up to 60 hours/week), Part Time, and PRN positions with day and night shifts (8s, 10s, and 12 hour options). Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided, including a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where practicing.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray current.
• BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyzes, and documents data and information from health care members and nursing diagnoses.
