Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for long-term care. The role provides nursing care under supervision, with medications and treatments administered per order, all while maintaining resident confidentiality and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered, and wage ranges from $29.00 to $36.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in good standing with State Nursing board.
• IV therapy experience may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision of RN/physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and report changes in resident status promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to support resident care plans.
• Assist with resident education and care planning activities.
