Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina.
• Current healthcare CPR/First Aid certification may be required.
• Ability to work in a correctional healthcare setting.
• Strong documentation and patient assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and treatment to inmates within Craven County Jail.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform patient assessments and respond to healthcare needs.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and care.
• Collaborate with providers and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate medical records in the facility system.
• Respond to urgent and emergent medical needs promptly.
• Promote a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment.
• Follow all jail and company policies and procedures.
