Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Hermann, MO. You will provide essential medical attention, administer medications, and collaborate with a caring medical team to support our elderly residents.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, and adherence to physician orders. Experience in long-term care and proficiency with EMR are highly valued, along with a current LPN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice as an LPN.
• Current CPR certification; additional nursing specialty certification desired.
• 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care for residents and ensure appropriate nurse aide assignments.
• Administer and document medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments and promptly notify physicians of changes in resident status.
• Maintain accurate medication counts and secure medication carts and rooms.
• Provide wound care, catheter care, oxygen care and related nursing interventions.
• Communicate staff actions and ensure safety and quality in resident care.
