Job summary

Christwood Retirement Community in Covington, Louisiana, is seeking a Part-time Night LPN to join our Assisted Living Department. The successful candidate will supervise the floor and at least two nursing assistants, and handle medication administration while receiving and implementing orders from the nursing team.

This role emphasizes precise documentation, incident reporting, and open communication with the nurse manager.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license to practice.
• Experience in assisted living or long-term care is preferred.
• Ability to supervise nursing assistants and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Manage the floor and supervise at least two nursing assistants.
• Administer medications and manage medication schedules.
• Receive and implement orders from the nurse manager.
• Maintain documentation of incidents and responses.
• Maintain open communication with the nurse manager.
