Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Roxboro, North Carolina. You will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and support nursing staff in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina (or compact license).
Minimum two years of LPN experience.
ASN from an accredited nursing program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care and monitor physical and psychosocial needs.
Administer medications, perform IV therapy, venipuncture, and other clinical procedures.
Prepare patients for surgeries, procedures, and physician examinations.
Perform assessments, document patient care, and communicate changes to the RN and healthcare team.
Manage and maintain NG tubes, urinary catheters, and other patient care equipment.
Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and elimination.
Assist with emergency situations, including code responses.
Receive and implement physician orders and maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and continued care.
Supervise and assist Patient Care Technicians while advocating for patient safety and well-being.
