Job summary

Sunrise Nursing & Memory Care in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to take on a leadership role as Charge Nurse during the day shift. You will supervise care delivery, support CNAs, and ensure residents receive attention with respect.

The ideal candidate holds an active Missouri LPN license, current BLS/CPR certification, and strong communication and critical thinking skills. Prior leadership experience is a plus but not required.

• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Leadership or charge experience is a plus—but not required.

• A passion for serving residents in a skilled nursing or memory care setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs and direct care staff
• Provide and document resident care according to care plans
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Report changes in resident conditions to RNs or physicians
• Participate in rounds, admissions, discharges, and care planning
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility policies
• Maintain accurate records and follow all medication protocols

What You’ll Need
