Job summary

Sunrise Nursing & Memory Care is seeking a compassionate LPN to take a leadership role as Charge Nurse during the day shift. You will supervise CNAs, document care plans, administer medications, and participate in rounds to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Missouri
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Leadership or charge experience is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Passion for serving residents in skilled nursing/memory care settings

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support CNAs and direct care staff
• Provide and document resident care according to care plans
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects
• Report changes in resident conditions to RNs or physicians
• Participate in rounds, admissions, discharges and care planning
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal and facility policies
• Maintain accurate records and follow medication protocols
