Job summary

Bushwick Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Brooklyn, NY team. This role focuses on patient care, medication administration, and supporting residents with daily needs.

You will collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare professionals to monitor vitals, document health details, and ensure comfort and safety. A valid LPN license and good standing with the state registry are required; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Valid LPN State license.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Collect information from new Residents to be admitted.
• Record health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.
• Administer medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores as needed.
• May supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Help Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
• Monitor Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.
