Job summary

Bushwick Center in Brooklyn, NY is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our rehabilitation and healthcare team. The role involves admitting residents, recording health details, and administering medications while ensuring residents receive compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Collect required information from new Residents to be admitted.
• Record health details of Residents; including vitals and temperature.
• Administer medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores; perform dressing as needed.
• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Help Residents get dressed and take care of personal hygiene.
• Monitor Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.
