Job summary

SnapCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specialized in corrections to join our healthcare team in Indianapolis, IN. The role is contract-based with a 13-week assignment and a 36-hour work week on 12-hour shifts.

Local pay is $45 hourly with additional travel pay and a $1000 stipend. Candidate must hold IN license, BLS/ACLS, and have at least 1 year of nursing experience. End of shift payments and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• BLS/ACLS certifications required.
• Current IN nursing license to practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in corrections or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care in a correctional facility.
• Perform health assessments and document medical history.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Coordinate tests, consultations, and referrals for patients.
• Collaborate with RNs and physicians to ensure patient safety.
