Job summary

SnapCare is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with corrections experience to join our care team in St. Charles, IL. Expect high-intensity patient management and a pay rate of $419.5 per hour plus a $1,000 stipend, with an 8-week assignment.

The role requires current IL license, BLS/ACLS certifications, and at least 1 year of nursing experience in a corrections or related setting. End-of-shift payments and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a post-acute care facility.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, document medical history, and collaborate on individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and monitor vital signs for patient safety and comfort.
• Coordinate patient care by scheduling tests, consultations, and referrals.
• Collaborate closely with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to safety guidelines.
