Job summary

Southern Health Partners invites an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Cherokee County Detention Center in Gaffney, SC. This full-time role on day shift (7:30 AM–8:00 PM) features a rotating schedule including every other weekend and opportunities to provide meaningful patient care in a correctional setting.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, monitor conditions, document care, collaborate with physicians and nurses, respond to emergencies, and maintain

Qualifications

Must hold an active LPN license and be in good standing.
Experience delivering patient care in a clinical setting.
Ability to collaborate with physicians, NPs, RNs and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff
Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations
Maintain accurate electronic medical records
Provide patient education and promote wellness
Help ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment
