Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Rome, NY. This role offers local pay of $40/hour on a W2 basis, with a 40-hour work week and a variety of shifts in a professional healthcare setting.

Shift Details:

• Various, 40 hours/week

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care under the direction of an RN, physician, or other authorized health care provider.

• Administer medications as directed.

• Provide bedside nursing care, including services requiring sterile techniques.

• Observe, measure, record, and report indications of patient health status.

• Perform more specialized tasks routinely, such as catheterizations and suctioning and others sparingly, such as IV therapy, with additional training.

• Administer blood and blood products.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of one (1) year/s of recent experience as an LPN.

• Additional certifications may be required.

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
